Setup and Use

Initial Setup

  • Adjust the Crossbar Angle Adjusters so the front of the SST chassis is planar with the steerer tube.

  • Adjust the Frame Width Adjusters so the SST mounts squarely to the bike frame.

  • Confirm fit by double-checking both the angle and width adjustments.

  • Strap the SST chassis securely to the frame and verify a stable connection.

Cockpit Support Setup

  • Install the Stem Dock onto the top of the SST by sliding it on to the snap-fit connection. Use either the 1-1/8” Stem Dock, or Direct Mount Stem dock depending on use case.

  • If the bike has an integrated stem tool, remove it before installing the Front Fork Platform.

  • Install the Front Fork Platform.

Stem Removal and Fork Support

  • Remove the stem and place on the Stem Dock.

  • Allow the fork to rest on the Front Fork Platform.

  • Steering adjustments can now be performed.

Headset Service (Full Removal / Cleaning)

  • If performing a full headset clean, install the Side Fork Platform to prepare for fork removal and storage.

  • Lift the fork slightly and remove the Front Fork Platform.

  • Remove the fork from the frame.

  • Place the fork onto the Side Fork Platform.

Important Notes

  • If brake lines or cables are short, lift the support the handlebars while removing the fork.

  • You may need to lift the handlebars above the head tube while simultaneously guiding the fork out of the frame.
